Guest guest
> Well. . .here we are. . . day 10 of being off Lamictal. After going as many> as 15 seizure-free days, we're back to the pattern of the daily 4 a.m.> seizure Dear DeEtte I am so sorry to hear of the return of sz's. It awful to see them again after such good control. Remember Hannah's withdrawals started 10 days after finishing lamictal? > Also, last night at 1 a.m., she woke up with a blood-curdling scream -- a> night terror. She hadn't had one in abou six months -- but they started> when she started Lamictal. So that's making me think that we are dealing> with withdrawl. . . I certainly hope so. This is interesting, as I'd never thought about night terrors linked with lamictal. I dont know if Hannah had them or not, but there was a time when she would occasionally wake and cry out as if in pain, and we couldnt find a reason. Now seeing your remarks I wonder if she was having night terrors, and as she is non verbal we've no way of knowing. Scary stuff! These episodes dont happen now, and I hadnt thought about it until your post. Perhaps it was related to lamictal or its wean. Who knows?! > I'd also asked about magnesium and> if it should be given in divided doses with the B6 or if my once/day> Cal/Mag/Zinc II was okay I am interested to hear of any responses you get from the other list, and any posted here. I wondered how much mag is needed for B6 processing, and hope it isnt so much that the kids get diarrhea. Keep up your good work DeEtte. You are a great mum and an inspiration to many of us, I'm sure. Cheers (Hannah's mum, Australia)
