It is always so difficult to have to make decisions based on information that you did not want to hear or that was different from what you expected. My thoughts are that you do not really have to decide right now and perhaps you can allow yourself some time to adjust to this and think about it and then choose the course of action best to you. You are still so close to Orion's death that it almost surely is making dealing with this much harder for you and your family.
