Sweetie, unfortunately, bad things happen to good people all the time. None of us have these illnesses because of something we've done - it isn't a punishment - it is the luck of the draw. And it really sucks. I know that you are very upset and I wish that I could wrap my arms around you and make it all better. Sadly we both know that it isn't that simple. But what I can do is tell you that I AM here for you and if you ever need to talk you can phone me as well - I know it isn't much and I know it doesn't solve the current problems - but I just need you to know that you are loved and that you Do have people here who are supporting you.

It really does get worse

I just found out this morning from the insurance commissioner in the state that Blue Cross can cancel me because I have not been on the payroll.... even though I'm on Temporary Disability.

I was getting depressed as it was.... I just want to hide under the covers now.

Karis, I know you are there for me.... and oh God, I appreciate it. I just seem to be spriraling downwards lately. I know there are people worse off the me, but I'm so afraid I won't have an income and insurance. If I could get off the damn toilet long enough I would do something, but I'm constantly in there (I know TMI--sorry).

Is there nothing you can take for that? I know that you said before that Immodium does nothing for you? And not to worry - I dont think there is such a thing as TMI here - we may not share identical illnesses but each of them are equally as difficult and wearing on our bodies. Oh, yeah, I've had prescription meds too, and they don't work. I'm not only going crazy, but I'm going to have to have the cesspool pumped if this keeps up... and that's NOT in the budget.
