Kat, go for it! I've never heard of anyone benefitting from one

grain anyway in the long run--unless they were only slighly hypo,

and our medical system doesn't catch folks who are slightly hypo!!.

Remember, too, that before the advent of the TSH (which RUINED good

thyroid care), most folks were treated with 3 grains or more. I am

not saying you need to go to 3 grains, of course. But I don't think

you will have a problem going up the amount your doc is letting you!!

And Kat, it can be better to divide the dose into a morning dose and

an early afternoon (if you stick to twice a day dosing.) That way,

you are getting the T3 rise during the times of the day when you

most need it!!
