Guest guest
Anyway, when I had my PET scan, they told me to not eat a whole lot because my glucose level had to be below 100 (if I remember correctly). No problem. I at a bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar - hoping the oats would give me sustained energy since I know I wouldn't be able to eat for 5 hours. After eating that, my glucose level was 57 (1 1/2 after eating). Darin, I don't understand why you couldn't eat for 5 hours. When I had the PET done in 6/00 they didn't tell me this and I ate right away on our drive home. Hopefully I didn't miss something and did it wrong.
