Guest guest Posted November 21, 2006 Report Share Posted November 21, 2006 What DOES everyone do for thanksgiving? Obviously it is easy to overeat, how can we overcome that with out temptation. I mean, there is always temptation with food, but not quite like it is on thanksgiving.Just thought id share a small goal that I think I have attained. I started last year to have an issue with eating late into the night. I love healthy food during the day, but at night-cravings hit. I always said "tomorrow, i wont do it" but it never works. ever. Well, tonight I think I have overcame it-and a huge thanks to all of you. I was watching a movie with my family tonight, and i had an urge to go grab something to snack on, but i wasnt hungry. I immediately thought of all you ladies and what we ahve been striving for and teaching our selves and each other about IE- and I simply just said no. I knew it would be there in the morning. I just said to myself, if I want success, im going to have to make it happen, it isnt magic, SO, thanks ladies for being so supportive not jsut to me but everyone in the group. It really is helpful.
