US and it was discovered that the cervix is funneling again. it started out about 4 mm,cm ( i forget which one is correct) and now it measures out at 2.4, so the contractions that i was feeling have made changes in the cervix. i was put on a fetal monitor and it was discovered that i am having contractions and just knot feeling them. so i was given the " steroid shot " to mature the baby's lungs, just in case. i have to go back tommorrow to get another shot and to be monitored again. i hope that i am able to then get some questions answered. i.e. my doctor said yesterday that if i went into labor before 36 wks that he would stop the labor if possible. so then, why didn't they do that today? anyway, needless to say i am nervous. i want to buy more time any way possible. i was told that the baby weighs approx. 4 lbs 12 oz, my daughter who was born at 35 wks was 4 lbs 15 oz, so i know given more time this baby will be bigger, and the lungs will be better off with the shot. ok ok i will go for now, sorry to ramble on. jenna 33wks and 2 days Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
