My BV seems centered around my periods too. Don't give

up hope! It's hard I know, but it will get better.

The discharge you discribed is what I had as it was

going away.

Yeah....I know what you mean by the pain/itch for the

clit. Completely aggrevating! Try an ice pack...it

helped me.

As for sex...don't give up on it. It is a troubling

thing. I'm single too and I've learned to just be

blunt about it if the topic arises. When I first was

told I had vv I asked my male friends if they could

still be with a woman with this problem...they all

said yes. THAT was reassuring.

The reality is that before I have sex with someone I

tell them what this is and that when I say stop I mean

stop! If they can't honor that then forget it. I've

had to explain it doesn't mean that everything has to

end right there, but that I need him & me to be still

so I can get ahold of this thing. Yes, sex at times

has hurt...other times it's been bearable. The

downside is that I really haven't been able to enjoy

it like I used to. However, I'm still holding out

hope that someday I'll be able to.
