Mike's bloodwork.........:)

Hello folks....

well, as you all know Mike is seeing a new Naturopath, one closer to

us...anyway, she has been targetting his immune system and liver and

spleen...

so, for the first time in years his white blood cells are normal, platelets

are up, INR good, PT good, albumin normal and protein normal....Mike has

been plagued by elevated functions and low readings since I've known

him....way before diagnosis, it was considered to be because of a fatty

liver.....anyway, as I reported he has felt stronger lately and his blood

readings today are so good, I feel like I'm walking on air...

she told him last week that of course she wouldn't cure him but she was sure

as hell going to make him feel better and settle this thing down....I can't

express how happy we are with her....

Mike is at the liver specialist right now for his 6 months check up so I'll

report on that when he calls me...

thanks , we've worked really hard to research things and find the right

mix and right stuff....it seems to all be coming together now with Dr.

Young's guidance and of course, me cheering in the bleachers.!!!

Very nice to read that naturopath is making a difference in Mike's health.

Looks like you guys found someone who is really good. Let us know the

results of the blood test.

These are the ones that are stabalized.....

Albumin...from 22 to 35 (normal values 33-52)

Total Protein from 59 to 68 (normal values 63-85)

White Cells from 2.75 and 3.25 to 4.29 (values 4.0-11.0)

Platelets from 71 to 129 (still low but better)

PT from 13.1 to 11.6 (values 9.9 - 11.6)

INR from 1.7 to 1.2 (values 0.9 - 1.2)

these are Canadian lab values....

I am so glad Mike's blood test came out good. That is great news.

No one ever know's what will work and I am glad what he is using has

worked.

thanks Faith, of course I live each day waiting for the other shoe to

fall...things have been going SO good.....I mean, it's possible he's had

this disease for 13 years or so and I just watch him getting

better......going for long bike rides every day and night with , I see

the cloud lifting and his incredible sense of humour returning more.....you

know he ran out of some of his supplements for over a week and couldn't get

them because his naturopath was away and he really regressed energy wise

etc....

I could go on and on about the improvement in him....I thought all along he

was doing great until I see how great he is doing now.......

now we have one more hurdle and that's his endoscopy/colonoscopy in May....

(that'll be a crappy time...no pun intended)
