In fact if they wish to do it for any OTHER reason - they would be wrong and should be turned away. He may not be taking the risks seriously, as you say, that's why it's up to a transplant center to see that he does. That is exactly why they put donors through so many interviews, tests and evaluations. It's not our job to second guess a donor, it's theirs.
