Teaching Toileting, Feeding and Dressing to Students with Autism

using Applied Behavior Analysis.

One of the most important skills you can teach your child, is the

ability to perform Self Help Skills. Aid them with the capability of

leading a more fulfilling independent life. Join us in this very

important workshop.

A full day workshop which will include shaping, chaining, prompting,

and task analysis construction as you learn to help your child learn

self-help skills.

Does your child ever eliminate in the toilet? Or indicate the need to

go to the bathroom? If your answer is negative to the above following

questions, you will be given instructions on how to implement an

intensive toileting program based on the FOXX -AZRIN toileting

procedures.

Does your child have difficulties in using utensils? Or shows a

reluctance to trying new foods or textures? Dr. Newman will discuss

procedures to help your child learn this very important self help

skill by implementing a feeding program.

Does your child have the inability to dress him/her self? Procedures

on implementing self dressing will be discussed.
