<< When I get it the stinging/burning eases off

a bit and then comes back as soon as the tingling feeling goes.

Anyone else get this or know what it could mean? >>

___________

I used to get this when the vv was at its worst. At times, I would have this

stinging, tingly, burning sensation on my inner thighs or even across my

pelvis, lower stomach (the skin). It was just more torment along with the

burning.

It lead me to consider it to be neurological pain, nerve pain--which finally

came under control for me with elavil.

Hi! I have the same feeling. I kind of appreciate the tingling

because it (like you say) seems to ease up the other symtoms.

Unfortunately I have no clue what it means. It sure feels like nerves

though.

I don't have the pins and needles feeling, but here's a shot in the dark to explain it . . .

Don't we get pins and needles when there's a lack of blood flow in an area of our body (i.e. it "falls asleep," like when you sit Indian-style for too long?) and then the blood starts to flow again? I think the start of the bloodflow is where the "pins and needles" kick in.

So maybe it's a circulation thing?

Thanks for your reply Charlotte, its nice to know im not alone!! I also thought it was to do with the nerves because when you get pins and needles (it sometimes feels a bit like that) it is to do with the nerves.> > Hi everyone> > Hope you are all well today, I was wondering if anyone else gets > (the > > only way I can describe it) a like tingly feeling down below, > > sometimes on the skin near the vagina but a lot of the time even on > > the outside and near the tops of the legs.
