Guest guest
Hi Dianne, I've gone thru the HHtrip x 4 and have to say my time wasn't as bad as some I have seen recounted here. The first time, I was so exhausted before and after I can hardly remember any of it. I think that was because of 3 surgeries within 3 months. It was an in-pt treatment and I slept the whole 5 days. Woke for meals, did a very little reading, and back to sleep. The 2nd and 3rd tx were a " piece of cake " . Although I did have some nausea and loss of taste-as you describe-it wasn't bad before and not too bad afterwards. The 4th, well that's a whole 'nother story. But I think that was due to my particular situation. Was in a LOT of pain, out in left field, and had the most incredible headache.. #4 was the only time I experienced hair loss ( it has grown back ). We won't talk about weight gain !! My hope for you is that your hypo trip won't be too difficult and that your scans are clear as a bell !
