Guest guest
Hi, Yes, I do believe, after the fact, that the Chiari was contributing to the problems that I had Walking before my last Detethering. They thought it was Tethered Cord alone, that is why I had Surgery for it. To my knowledge, I do not have Syringomyelia. Guest guest
I do, but not all the time. It happens at least every other day though. I`m walking and all of a sudden I accidentally hit Shadow (my service dog) with my leg or I almost fall over it because it`s dragging. Guest guest
Suzanne, 5 out of seven days I am dragging my right leg it seems , and that doesnt help the lower back at all either . If I make a conscious decision to pay close attention to it , I find myself then walking with my toes pointed more inward and balance and coordination is very off. Ring any bells!!!! Please post to the group ... Take care, Dawn Keep Smiling it Looks Good On You .... Guest guest
Hi, Difficulty walking was my most annoying symptom before surgery---I am soooo much better now! I do sometimes still have problems walking but less problems all the time. Physical therapy has helped a lot too. Meribeth in Mi 4-5mm decomp 9/24/99 and still improving! Guest guest
Something I haven't thought about. I walk with a semi pidgeon toed gait. My right foot turns inward. Couls this be Chiari related. I have very bad cramps all over my body but mainly in the right foot and hand. puma8765@... wrote: > Suzanne, > > 5 out of seven days I am dragging my right leg it seems , and that doesnt > help the lower back at all either .
