Guest guest
Rita, Just remember that Coke can clean rust off a chain and from actual use, it cleaned off tomato sauce burns on a stainless steel pan, so what is it that's going in your stomach there? Guest guest
Not to worry for a moment Bill. I do not in any way plan to switch. Just did say coke is doing well on the stock market. Still wonder who parent company is of Pepsi. Guest guest
Rita, Not sure who the parent company is now. It has changed hands several times and is probably owned by some investment company now that doesn't know what to do with all the money they're making. Sigh. Guest guest
Rita, I called the Tell me line and asked for pepsico and they said the stocks were down .37percent and coa cola was up 1. something. I think the name is pepsico. Re: Pepsi verses Coke-a-cola Rita, Not sure who the parent company is now. Guest guest
good point, bill. It's probably the phospahtes in the Coke-and every other canned soada that does the cleaning. After all, soaps for the dishwasher etc. are made of phosphates. Guest guest
Gee thanks Pat. I sure did not know about that name change. I suspect if one tracks them they are both pretty good stocks no matter how you feel about the drink itself. Guest guest
I think you are right, Rita. In all truth, I have been drinking Koo Aid made with Splenda. I don't think Kool aid has anything in it that can hurt you! Re: Pepsi verses Coke-a-cola > > > Rita, > > Not sure who the parent company is now. Guest guest
Rita, Coke will also do a wonderful job of tenderizing meat. Be careful because, if you leave the meat soaking in Coke for too long there won't be any meat left. Coke will also clean oil and whatever off of an engine block (you need to use the concentrated syrup) and it does an excellent job of cleaning rust off of cast iron as well. Other uses include mixing with Bourbon, mixing with ice cream and cleaning stains out of a toilet bowl. Just thought you might want to know - (smile) Cy, the Ancient One... Guest guest
Among the family of pepsi is Frito Lay, so it is not a small family. Guest guest
That is correct. The name of the parent company is Pepsico. It is made up of a number of companies. One of which is Frito Lay. Guest guest
Can you imagine what is normally in your stomach, and what it would do to the same bicycle chain? The best coke came in little glass bottles, that you had to open with a bottle opener.
