For one hundred correct?

Now that would be a good deal.

I will speak to Jim about this one.

But I think even the strips have an expiration date! Don't they?

Yes, I believe they do but it is something like a year. Now, if one is

really aggressive in one's monitoring of blood sugar one could very

easily use 90 strips per month, not a problem.

I have to get on Crystal's case about taking her sugar because she does

not want to run up the expenses. It is a real shame that there is not

any cheap place to get the strips. It sorta reminds me of today's

printers and the ink expense. I can go out and purchase a new HP printer

for just a little more than it would cost to replace the cartridges in

the old one.

To answer Dar's question about the strips and a new meter, it looks to

me that none of the meters come with strips today. Am I wrong? I am

fairly certain that the Ultra meters do not come with strips today. The

sale I lucked onto was a real fluke. When Ultra came out with the " new "

Smart model I was in hopes that it would also come with a nice supply of

strips - but - alas, no such luck.

Wonder if I could order them from overseas? Maybe Australia?

You're right gigi. The meters really stink!

one touch

I ijust wish they didn't fail so often. I have had 3 new meters already

this year. So you need a back up when it no longer works.

I have had the voice Mate for at least 4 years and they recently replaced it

for me when it went al out of whack the longest I have ever gone with one

that didn't stop working was about 8 months.

Re: one touch

Why does it mess up for you?

I was told that for two years the unit would be replaced.

After that you had to buy a new unit.

Was I told correctly?
