DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT OF VOLUNTARY SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS (NGO)

OBJECTIVES: This programme has been launched in order to help VSOs to increase

their effectiveness and efficiency through the “management route”. It aims to

familiarize the participants with basic concepts in the areas of general

management, social marketing, finance, human resource management,

micro-enterprise and micro-finance.

DURATION: 1 year.

COURSE COMMENCES on 1st July 2006.

CLASS TIMINGS: Saturdays 4:00 p.m to 9:15 p.m. and Sundays 9:00 a.m. to 2:00

p.m.

ELIGIBILITY: Graduation in any field. Those working with the NGO sector or

interested to work, as volunteers with NGOs or wish to develop career in the NGO

sector will be given preference.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE: Candidates have to fill up the Admission Form before 23rd

of May 2006 and appear for an interview on 16th June 2006 at 4:00 p.m. at NMIMS.

Admission form and Brochure are available at the institute for Rs.100/-

Alternatively admission forms can be downloaded from www.nmims.edu and can be

submitted along with Rs. 100/- at the office. FEES: Rs. 12,000/- p.a. Facilities

will be available to secure loan scholarship)
