Guest guest
Yes and no. Lyme can be quite dormant, just waiting for another illness and it the spirochetes become opportunistic. However, my experience has been lots of complaints of flu like symptoms, and or aches and pains with no apparent cause, plus symptoms can be present one day and gone the next. (I know, it sounds weird) Early stage is relatively easy to treat and not really life threatening. Left untreated it can become chronic which is MUCH harder to cure, can cause blindness, organ failure and death. It is painful and debilitating, especially for kids.
