PLC at Bagalkot - Karnataka...

Dear All,

The First Positive Living Center (PLC) under the GFATM round IV has been

operational at Bagalkot - Karnataka. INP+ has commissioned the PLC with the

active support of KNP+, PFI and other GFATM partners.

PLC is a proven success model for providing a comprehensive care and support

service for the PLHAs. The following services are presently available at the

PLC.

1. Support group meeting

2. Counseling

3. ART adherence meeting

4. Referral services

5. Home visit

6. Drop-in center

7. Free medical consultation

Many other services focusing Women and Children are in the pipe line.

All the NGOs, CBOs and other agencies working in the development sector are

requested to refer PLHAs to the PLC.
