Hi Marie,

I just went to Cochlear's web site. I looked in there catalog and they do

have disks, I ordered a bag of 50 for 30.00 plus 3.00 for shipping. I won't

know if there back ordered until they receive my email. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Marie,

I tried to order the adhesive retainer disks from Cochlaer in May and was

told they were back ordered. I asked again 2 weeks ago and they said they

expect delivery from the manufacturer before the 1st of August. So 2

different reps there indicated they still make them. I am getting by after

hitting Bradford and up for some. They had a big stash. :-)

But yeah, I have used a small piece of scotch tape to hold the magnet on many

times. I also wear a baseball cap on weekends a lot to save disks. The cap

keeps it in place fairly effectively.

I have to shave the area maybe once every 4 days, whenever the disk loses its

stickiness from showering. The batteries I have last about one day. I'm

always charging one overnight. You can use regular batteries in it. I prefer

that for traveling instead of having to pack the charging gizmo.

Hope this helps.

-Pat

I went to Cochlear website and I ordered the discs also; if they were not

available, you would think they would not be listed? We will see what

happens! Marie
