Hey Marie,

I love my treadmill, I can even hook into iFit.com to get more workout

programs with it or buy videos and it hooks into the VCR so you can walk to

Hawaii or other places. It will automaticly adjust the incline and speeds

to the tape.

Before I used a cane, I thought people used it for support too. If you think

about it, a cane would be a rather odd object to support a person. What I read

was: " the extra point of touch is what helps people " . It's sorta like a handrail

on stairs. You don't clutch on a handrail for dear life. You touch it to guide

you down the stairs smoothly (I hope!).

I'm a little dense here; you don't use a cane for support; are you saying

you use it for balance? But it doesn't GIVE you balance, does it? I mean

isn't it just for catching you when you're OFF balance? Marie

yeah this is so true! I notice if I even have a hand to hold on too i am so

much more balanced. I been thinking about buying a walking stick. theres a store

here that sells them in cool colors and designs , very chic! the extra point of

balance when im walking around a mall or similar would be helpful....
