Wow, I totally sympathize with your plight. On my worse days, I would

bleed through a ultra-super tampon on to my backup pad every 20 minutes. I

would have to plan when I left from work so it would be right after I

changed a tampon--the commute is 45 minutes so I just had to deal with

whatever happened by the time I got home. Isn't it just a terrible thing

to have to be cluttering your brain with your next " appointment " with the

bathroom? I couldn't even consider the opera tickets a person was going to

give me that had no intermission!

Sorry to say, though, I never noticed any difference in brands of tampons.

pardon my equally graphic answer but, I just put two or three tampons at a time

up me, kind of like

riding on a hard saddle. lol. but it beats looking like something out of a

slasher film. that has

been my solution. There were a few times when I couldn't leave the house. Vitex

so far has seemed to

help, I'm crossing my fingers though. gg

maybe we could market a super huge tampon, sort of like as big as one of

those...er marital

aids...dildos....like a giant one....it could have a catchy title, like... " when

those little ones

won't do " ....hahahahaha. I'm sorry, it is serious but I think there might be

somehing there to market

for people who can't even leave home without a psycho hemmorhage. The brand

could be, " the tampon for

those who size does make a difference! " My distinct apologies, but it is

frustrating to not be able

to go out of your house at times. gg

Ok - sensitive types can leave the room now....

Yes - they could be called Pontoons (heehee)

But seriously folks - remember that old brand " Rely " ? I guess they were a

little TOO effective in holding menstrual flow because some women kept them

in too long and developed toxic shock - hence the prolific warnings in

tampon packages these days. Perhaps some kind of Prescription Tampon for

those of us who REALLY need them??? I change a super plus about every half

hour during my heaviest time, but that usually only lasts half a day or so

then it tapers off to every two hours, three, etc. Usually have two nights

of four bathroom trips. I just can't get used to pads - feel like soggy

diapers clinging to my crotch, so an Ultra Extra Large Super Duper Plus

Pontoon would suit me just fine! ;)

Hahaha. Pontoons, I like that. Yes, the pads are really the pits. Maybe they

could be marketed

especially for women like us. I will call a manufacurer tomorrow and give them

the idea. My big deal

is the chlorine and dioxin they use to make the tampon white. It would be more

healthful for us women

if the freaking tampon were brown so we would not be directly exposed to the

dioxin and chlorine.gg

Thanks! I needed a laugh. Maybe they could call it " Super Industrial

Strenth " . Seriously, though, the expandable tampons like Playtex seem to

give me more corking action than the narrow ones. At least for awhile.

I think the Department of Defense...maybe the missile division, should divert

some of their money to

developing some space age material that could help us. They could expand out

like bazookas. What

about all those C rations that are dehydrated? I know the technology is there.

You guys are all making me laugh so hard tonight.

I assume you will take all the proceeds of the Pontoons and donate then to

NUFF to further research on how we can get to NOT use them anymore!

Actually there was this " thing " on the market that I tried and then pitched.I

can't even remember the

name-but it was shaped like a bowl and was made of a sort of rubber. The idea was

to sqeeze this thing to

insert it.Well I tried that and it kept popping out(stop all that laughing out

there) Finally I threw it

away and I have not seen it re-appear in the pharmacy so I guess, it went off

the market.

Best,

Bonnie
