Now I am waiting to hear what to do about getting rid of it. I'm going to suggest infectious disease Dr if nothing else. I want o get rid of this. Guest guest
Becky, Do you have the itching & rash all the time, or does it come and go? Also, I won't hear anything until the end of next week, but my Dr. said I could have had it before and now I just have the leftover effects of sore/stiff joints. Are you exposed to children a lot? Best of luck, Jeanette

Guest guest
Becky, It is my understanding that you just have to let it run its course. My nephew had it during the school year last year and it lasted several weeks. Benadryl helped him a lot with the itching. Also, it's very important to stay of the sun and not let yourself get hot as it will make the rash/itching worse. If it's really bad, a bath with the aveno oatmeal stuff might be soothing. Hang in there. How's the kiddo? W Re: Parvo Virus Hello Jeanette and all, Well I got the call from the nurse today, I have the parvo virus. Guest guest
Jeanette, Yes, I have had the itching for years. My arms are scarred from the itching and now my legs are broke out and my stomach. I too could have had this for years. No I'm not really exposed to a lot of children, just my son who is 16. This is so weird that you mentioned this.....when I saw it , I was like no way could someone else be tested for this at the same time as me! Life goes on!
