I have a temperary port under my collarbone and most likely next thursday I will be gitting the permanent port in my right arm. your friend wayne o happy day I went to the doc yesterday and my A1C was 6.0, the total colesterol was 166, the HDL 67 and LDL 87. the doc was very happy and so was I! My first one was that and the second one was a premmie so she had to eat more often, which in those days meant mommy was up as daddy had to work. I know some people who atually feel bettter as all the " poisons " are taken out of their system during the dialysis. I wonder if you wil be a proponent of a transplant. I went into my kidney doctor for my regular appointment and directly into the hospital from his office. Holiday times, birthdays, etc. are hardest right now. I went to the doc a couple of weeks ago and my a1c was 6.6! I started out at 8.0! I'm glad of that. The kidney doc had put me on a BP med for my kidneys because my primary care doc had noticed a slight bit of protein in my urine. The kidney doc said that this med might reverse this condition. My boyfriend, and I became engaged. If it's possible, we're going to marry on the cruise ship before it leaves from Florida in April. We're going with some other blind folks on a cruise to Belize, Costa Rica, and Panama. I've never been on a cruise and I'm looking forward to it! Well, guess I'll go for now. I'll keep Wayne in my prayers. I'm glad to hear that your little one's doing well, . I sure hope fared all right there in Florida!
