Jenn, thanks for the support! I'm still recovering, but it really

has been interesting in terms of the intuitive eating concepts.

Last night I sat down in my newly remodeled kitchen, at my brand new

dining room table and really ENJOYED a meal for the first time in

ages simply because I took my TIME with it, and because I was eating

food I sincerely enjoyed. I stopped on the way back from the gym

and bought a piece of pecan pie because I was craving something

sweet, so after my meal I cleared everything away and bought the pie

and a glass of milk to the table. Enjoyed it immensely, though I

didn't even finish the piece of pie. SAVORED it in a way I've not

been able to do before. I didn't finish the pie because I

RECOGNIZED that while it was good it wasn't GREAT - the crust was

too " institutional " for me, so I had a few bites and finished the

milk and that was it. Wonderful. Enjoyed completely the few bites

and then moved on. That is progress.
