Mito disorders and the keto diet

Can anyone out there help ?

A friend who also has a child with (another)mitochondrial disorder is

interested in the keto diet, but concerned about the effect of acidosis on a

child who already has congenital acidosis from the mito disorder.

Gaby's specific mito disorder is actually helped by the keto diet, but is

there anyone else out there with thoughts or info on other mito disorders on

the diet? (they want to do the diet for seizure control)
