Guest guest
I have always used Rice Dream Milk as a staple in our house and now that we are working on implementing the GFCF diet, I had heard that they had a 0.002% gluten found in their barley. Well, I started noticing this on their packaging. Today, I went to a local market and was looking at almond milk and westsoy rice drink and then looked again at Rice Dream and noticed that they removed the 0.002% and wrote gluten free. So I called the company and found out that they have changed equipment and that the new equipment is does not register any gluten from the barley and that the barley is used to " strain " the rice. She assured me that the new equipment is accurate and up to date and that we should be seeing their products in particular their milk as a gluten free product. Anyone in question should call them to make sure for themselves. This was my experience with the rep. Just thought I would let you all know. Thanks again everyone for your help. We will be seeing Dr. Levinston in February. Warmly, Leanne
