There are 2 talking meters available. they should be covered by your

insurance company as long as the doc writes a prescription that says you

need the meter to control your blood sugar. Some insurance companies balk

at covering the cost of a meter to a non-insulin coverage diabetic. It is

ridiculous, but that is the way it is. I think bill was sending you the

info about the meters, but if you don't receive it, write us back.

Hi and ,

I heard from my doctors office and asked them about the meter. My doctor

will write a script for it and the insurance will cover it.

how about medi cal, do you know if they would cover it

want to check out my new web page? go to

yes, medi-Cal does cover it if a doc states it is necessary to control the

blood sugar-but I am not sure if they will cover it for a non-insulin

dependent diabetic. It takes loger to get from medi-cal, but i had a number

of clients who did get it from them.
