Guest guest
There are 2 talking meters available. they should be covered by your insurance company as long as the doc writes a prescription that says you need the meter to control your blood sugar. Some insurance companies balk at covering the cost of a meter to a non-insulin coverage diabetic. It is ridiculous, but that is the way it is. I think bill was sending you the info about the meters, but if you don't receive it, write us back. talking glucometer Hi All, Is there a talking glucometer on the market? Guest guest
Hi and , I heard from my doctors office and asked them about the meter. My doctor will write a script for it and the insurance will cover it. talking glucometer > > > Hi All, > > Is there a talking glucometer on the market? Guest guest
yes, medi-Cal does cover it if a doc states it is necessary to control the blood sugar-but I am not sure if they will cover it for a non-insulin dependent diabetic. It takes loger to get from medi-cal, but i had a number of clients who did get it from them.
