Hello Kari and welcome.

Thanks for sending us your story. You said that your doctor says if the ashermans is in a crucial 2-3mm near the tubes then you will be infertile. I can only understand that as meaning that your eggs won't be able to come through the tubes but that does not necessarily mean you will be infertile. You can always opt for IVF where your tubes won't be needed. Unless of course he meant something else which we, as a group have not come across.

I wonder where your trapped blood is if you don't have a closed cervix?

Hope you get much support from this group.

Welcome to the group Penni - although I'm sorry you have to be here.

Can you fill me in on a little bit of detail? When you said you had

had a D & C, was this BEFORE the Asherman's or as TREATMENT for the

Ashermans? If it was for treatment - you need a new doctor! I agree

that you should see an " A " list doctor if at all possible. I went to

another doctor for 9 months and just now have been to see an " A " list

doctor and have learned that much of what my first RE did to treat my

Asherman's was useless and could have even made things worse

(although it doesn't seem to have so far). Hang in there, I know you

are scared, we all are, but information will help you to feel better.

Hi my name is Angie and I'm new to the group.I have a few questions

if anyone can help.I'm having surgery this coming Tuesday and I'm

very nervous about it,I don't know what to expect.I've got

hyperthyroidism(graves)My new labs are as follows:

TSH normal:0.34-4.82 mine is 0.01 low

FREE T4 0.8-1.9 MINE IS 4.32 high

FREE T3 NORMAL:1.8-4.2 MINE IS 13.5 high

This is while I've been on 30mg of tapazole a day.I've also got a

tumor on the back side of my neck they will also be removing duing

my thyroidectomy.I've been reading about Amour and am really excited

about this drug,I've never heard anything good about synthyroid. My

biggiest concern is the weight gain after my surgery. It is driving

me crazy worrying about gaining weight, because everyone I know

has.I've never weighed over 110.Please tell me if it will be

possible for me to maintaine that weight after my surgery.I've even

bought a home gym and have been working out every morning for the

past week since I found out I had to have surgery. Will the Amour

help me stay at 110?Will my hair stop growing?what about my skin?

Thanks so much for any help and or advise anyone can give me
