I cant remember the exact wording. ... I would not have posted any these mail a few years ago because we must remember that we still have patients on this drug and this may be alarming for them At that time there was no other drugs around that a Patient could use and we only had the Maze. Now with the PVI and the Linear ablation coming down the road, also new drugs like Dofetilide and Azimalide then serious consideration's should be taken on board with view of more modern treatments.. My latest inquiry was to Dr. Page, U of Wash School of Med. He said " azimilide is in investigation, in 3 trials for AFIB. No results or ETA yet. It take around 7 years for a drug to be passed for testing, there must be a center in the USA or Europe that is trailing this drug. .
