Marcelle, how about a second opinion from another doctor?

I think with chronic afib, the " regular " ablation is not as

successful as for people in occasional afib, so the doc often does a

different procedure, more like an ablation mini-maze.

thank you bruce & others for your replies and input.

i did continue with my coumadin and cardizem pst ablation. do you

suggest I see another cardiologist or another PE for a 2nd opinion? I

have a feeling it would take a long time to find another PE for an

appointment. pst PVA I went into chronic afib, not just episodes,

that's why " I " think that it didn't work. Interesting that you

mention a 6 month time for saying that it disn't work. My EP was not

too " talkative " if you know what I mean, and there just isn't much

info to read about these " details " on the internet. any more input

from all of you would be greatly appreciated. either what you've been

through in this regard, or what your doctors have told you. thanks
