Guest guest
Could someone help me to understand what Metabolic acidosis actually is? My son is taking Citradux (an amino acid) for this and I am having a hard time getting this for some reason. Perhaps I am overwhelmed with other info and just can't take any more in?? Also, is it OK to be taking this while chelating? He is also taking Vit. C, Zinc Sulfate, Mag Carbonate, Milk Thistle, Nu-Thera w/P5P and we are about to start on the Houston Enzymes. Thanks! Guest guest
And I would say experiment on yourself and see. I have, and there is a definite effect. I'm not talking about transitory effects like taking a dose of vit C. Purposely try to keep your ph below say 6, for a day or two, and see how you feel. I get heart palpitations and feel like crap...and my gym/athletic ability and vitality degrade markedly. And when I keep it between 7 to 7.4 the opposite happens. Who cares if science has or has not " verified " this if you can determine yourself, on yourself. How long does " credible " science lag new health discoveries? Sometimes a LONG time. I don't need science to tell me what makes me feel better and improves my athletic performance and sense of wellbeing. Metabolic Acidosis Metabolic Acidosis The body functions optimally when it is in equilibrium. When it goes out of equilibrium and becomes more acidic you will have consequences. Guest guest
If your blood PH goes to 6, you die. My urine PH is permanently below 7 because I take slow release vitamin C. Guest guest
By following the advice in the article. Optimum amounts of macrominerals, lots of raw organic vegetables (especially green ones), low or no levels of sugar & grains, purified mineralized/alkinalized water, organic as much as possible...basically eating like hunter/gatherer that has a wide choice of foods. Balance the alkaline promoting foods (vegetales) with the acid promoting ones (protein sources) to get the 7 to 7.4 readings. And if you want to do a quick ph altering experiment on yourself, get some testing strips and mix a quarter teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) in a glass of water. Notice the difference in the before and after measurement. Metabolic Acidosis Metabolic Acidosis The body functions optimally when it is in equilibrium.
