Dear Forum,

Greetings from Indian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (INP+)!

INP+, through the DFID Challenge Fund supported " Positive Actions

Project " has set up a National HIV/AIDS Policy and Advocacy Center

(NPAC) at New Delhi.

The over all aim of the " Positive Actions Project " is to create an

enabling policy environment for people living with HIV/AIDS in India

and to enhance the contribution of PLHA towards the national efforts

to halt and reverse the HIV epidemic.

NPAC will focus on coordinating policy and advocacy related

activities of INP+. Many incidents that merit national attention

often arise at the state and district levels, NPAC is designed to

assist the State Level Networks and District Level to find their

relevant local issues a national attention.

We are in need of short-term consultants to prepare policy briefs,

position papers and policy discussion papers on relevant areas in

the broader topics of Treatment Access, Greater Involvement of

People Living with HIV/AIDS (GIPA) and Positive Prevention

(Secondary HIV prevention among PLHA).

NPAC invites expression of interest from experts in the field who is

willing to work in close collaboration with the PLHA network.

We request the interested individuals to send your expression of

interest along with the resume to npac@... on or before

25.June 2006.
