Next, before squeezing it, place your left pointer finger on the machine *exactly* where it should go, if you don't know that spot, then that is the problem. If you do know that spot, place your finger there, then with your right thumb and right pointer finger side of nuckle, pump the tip of your left pointer finger, resting on the blood meter. I.E press it, release it, press it, release it, etc. while never taking your left pointer finger off the blood meter. Pump, release, pump, release, until you hear the meter beep.
