I was quite skeptical about it so I called and talked to the nurse practicioner. She was jumping for joy, it was the first time ever that they initiallly came back negative. They could still grow something of course, but they've never come back initially negative! The infection in the liver will continue to be treated with antibiotics, but that was not the biggest concern. So, for now, seems the sepsis is gone. Never doubt the power of prayer! Guest guest
Ruth, Tell we love him and are sorry that he has to go through all this pain. We should get rest and relief? Sounds like you need some rest and relief. If it makes you feel any better. Phil called me from China at 4:30 a.m. couldn't hear him so he called about 5 times and then on business line got in " got a bad connection " and that was it. There I was wide awake running back and forth between the bedroom and office and the cats running around thinking it was time to be fed. Then he waited until I fell asleep last night to call back. He's got the time zones all mixed up. I have to get up and go to work but it doesn't compare at all to what you are going through. I really empathise with you and have tremedous sympathy for you. As I've said before the patient gets drugs and doesn't know what's going on most the time the caregiver has to handle it without that aid. When Phil was in the hospital for 10 days I was worn out trying to keep up, I can't imagine how you are doing this. We'll keep praying for all of you for sure. Boy when this is over you'll need a few weeks in Hawaii just laying on a beach.
