I saw a story on the Today show about it and have had patients on it. Necessary for those diagnosed with celiac  a) Increased in celiac diagnoses as people with vague abdominal issues are finally getting properly diagnosed.  or they are self diagnosing  c) Celebrity with celiac writes a book and everyone thinks they have celiac so they self diagnose. 2. Friend lost weight on it so they want to try it (i.e. another way to eat low carb, skip cookies, cakes, crackers, other non-nutritional foods) 3. Big claims for grains being " inflammatory " and avoiding foods that we can't eat without cooking (ie. Paleo or Neanderthal diets). 4.
