When I was being discharged from hospital after my 5 day drying out period, the Dr. who was signing off on my paperwork would not even bother to look up at me when he said, " Oh, you'll be back. Dr: " That doesn't work " . Me " How do you know' " ? Dr " I know " Me " Ever been to a meeting " ? Dr " No " Me " Ever hear of AVRT " DR " No " Me " Then how do you know " ? Dr " I just know " I then proceeded to suggest that he might want to check out a part in the big book where it refers to " Contempt prior to investigation " .
