Guest guest
Mark, You are quite welcome! Yes, I believe in supporting PLS research in each and every way possible, sometimes, just cheering others on! I'm proud of Ronnie's enthusiasm and her " can do " attitude. I'm also pleased with the efforts of the SPF so far. Keep up the good work. Guest guest
Hi Sheila, I really feel bad for that he is going through so much. Back in October of 2002 I was in so much pain that I ended up in the hospital for six weeks. I was so sick that I did not even know what was going on. In a sense the pain of the RSD made me crazy. Tell to hang in there. I have found one thing out and that is the longer we go to one dr that is treating us the better able that dr is to help us. Sorry he is having so much trouble turning on the Stims. That is very common though if we have open wounds. I know if I have a cut, I can't stand it on either. Does have the sores at a particular place or are they all over? The reason I asked is because if they are in a particular place it might be possible for the dr to program the stim so that it won't bother his sores. is so lucky to have you by his side. I am sure he is very grateful. Take care and gentle hugs to you both. babs

Guest guest
Dear Peggy, I find that Zantacc does very little for me, especialy if I am on certain medications. It does help otherwise, but I know the feeling of being on fire with acid reflux, and it is just awful!!! When I am on prednisone or an anti biotic my dr. puts me on either Nexium 2x per day or Prevacid 30mg once or twie a day epending on what other medications are causing the problem. The wonderful thing about Dr. B. is that she always loads me up with samples on these occassions as she knows my medicare doesn't pay enough to spit on Nexium or Prevacid. I don't know if those are helpful suggestions or not, but it just may be time to switch to something a little more powerful. Guest guest
, This anti-biotic is Ciprofloxacn 500 mg. I will NEVER take this mess again. I have been sick for the past 8 days. Just didn't put the two together. I have every side effect listed. Can not believe it. I haven't slept yet and have had a banging headache since 6: am.. Guest guest
Hey Peggy, I hate some of these antibiotics!!! I have a difficult time with Augmentin, and I don't blame you one bit for not taking a drug like that again. I don't take Augmentin anymore. I am with you on being tired of being sick and tired. Although, my PF is not as advanced, the other issues that come along with HPS just sometimes wear me out!!! I am just glad that we have such a wondeful support system here so that we can be our true selves without any masks or fear of disbelief. Btw.....I think you have me mixed up with the other , but that is ok. I will not be able to come to Chattanooga, but my sister used to live there, and when we visited many years ago, I LOVED it!!! Enjoy the mountains, and I will pray that there will be lots of colorful leaves in your trip there. As all of us certainly deserve a little more color these days. God bless you Peggy, and I hope you soon find some relief. Guest guest
Pehhy, I went thru the same thing 2 weeks ago, ended up at the ER at midnight. I was on Kelflex, ( drs at the hosp never mentioned it might be that) and they gave me another Prilosec and some Carafate. When I follwed up with my dr, she upped my Prisolec from 40mg a day to 80 and Carafate 4 times a day. Well guess what, as soon as the Kelflex was gone, so was the heartburn, grrrrrrrrrrr, all that money for extra scripts, ER visit, all they had to do was change the Kelflex. Good luck hunny, Vicky81856See what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.

Guest guest
Yep, as soon as I stopped the antibiotic I feel great. I have a call into my Dr to have them note my problem with this one. Hope you are feeling better. I feel like I could throw this hose down and clean this dusty messy house..maybe not. I am going to start packing today for sure. Love and Prayers, Peggy ipf 6/04 Florida " Worry looks around, Sorry looks back, Faith looks up. " Pehhy, I went thru the same thing 2 weeks ago, ended up at the ER at midnight. I was on Kelflex, ( drs at the hosp never mentioned it might be that) and they gave me another Prilosec and some Carafate. When I follwed up with my dr, she upped my Prisolec from 40mg a day to 80 and Carafate 4 times a day.
