Guest guest
The Just say no to gas may be a hoax, but it sure would not the dickens out of the government in regards to the tax money they would miss out on, for a 24 hour period. Imagine the effects if people also did not buy cigarettes that day. The hefty taxes on these two products alone would really impact the taxes the government collects for a 24 hour period....It may make them realize that the people do have a voice..I know the governments could lower these prices if they wanted...It is so unjust as how the price of gas is different from one end of the country to another...Even a distance of 20 miles can effect the price of gas..That has to let us know that something is wrong...it is not been regulated and some greedy garage owners are adding to the price we pay for gas on their own.. If it is a hoax I don't know?? Do I think it is a good idea..sure do... Thanks and please lets support this move regardless...Barb <> < <>< <>< Fill my Mouth with Worthwhile Stuff<>< <>< <>< And Nudge Me When I have said enough

Guest guest
Terri's right. Hoax of the mightiest caliber... I wish this one would die like most other internet email quick fix scams usually do. If you want the gas prices to go down, everyone has to permanently use less gas. Simple laws of supply vs. demand. One day won't affect anything. Neither will buying gas only from X company - because gas companies notoriously sell between themselves when one has a surplus and another has a drought. Re: SAY NO TO GAS.. > Thinking like this is a start but, wouldn't it work better if we all vowed to not USE any gas on a given day. You are right they will always make their money one way or another. > > This is a hoax...even if everyone didn't buy gas on 5/19 it wouldn't make an impact on the gasoline companies. People will buy before or after that date and the companies will make the same money. We would have to go without gas for alot longer then that.... > > Terri yours for only $14.70/year

Guest guest
And the thing is, I have watched a fuel truck fill up at an Exxon and then drive across the street and fill up at Mobil....it all comes from basically one place so not buying from one gas station only hurts the little guy....not the gas companies.
