Antimony, Lead, and Tin are in red. Titanium, uranium, cadmium, arsenic and aluminum are yellow. I would take the reds as a problem and the yellows as a big concern--- BUT! I do NOT know anything about the levels of these metals that are " bad " -- I can only go by the DDI ref ranges and colors -- because I do NOT know, myself. Anyway, this does indicate to me that your child would most likely be a whole LOT better off without all this stuff. Quite a laundry list. >Essential and other elements above 50% is 14. I counted 13. either way this is " normal " . >Essential and other elements below %0% into red is 0. elements in RED on either direction is 0 which is " normal " . >Essential and other elements in middle section (ends >in white or green) is 14. also " normal " . >When using Andy's counting rules - the test results do >not indicate a high probability of mercury poisening? >Would you agree with this? yes. Please note that since your child has normal mineral transport, this ALSO indicates that the high levels of the other toxic metals are most " real " indicators of high levels of these metals. (In someone with disordered mineral transport it is not clear what it means, because the disordered mineral transport ALSO affects the toxics.) >Essential and other elements concerns that are high >are: sodium, potasium, boron, phosphorus, selenium, >iron? > >Essential and other elments concerns that are low are: >magnesium, manganese, vanadium, lithium? I do not know at what levels any or these are a concern, so I cannot comment. My knowledge is very limited. >Is there anything else I should be extremely concerned >about? Oh, well, I think the toxic metals are plenty to keep you busy for a while! DMSA chelates lead and ALA chelates arsenic. The others I am not clear on, so I tend to refrain from comment. Since your child's copper level is normal, ALA is not contraindicated in that regard. >I have no idea what i am doing here so any help/advice >offered will be greatly appreciated. well, I don't have any idea what I am doing either, but, well, I guess I've just been fumbling for a little LONGER than you!? I'd suggest that you work on reducing the various toxic metals, and that you plan on another hair test in 6 months or 9 months. best wishes, Moria > >POTENTIALLY TOXIC ELEMENTS >element result ref range color >============================================= >aluminum 9.1 <8.0 yellow >antimony 0.26 <0.066 red >arsenic 0.14 <0.08 yellow >beryllium <0.01 <0.02 none >bismuth 0.046 <0.13 green >cadmium 0.39 <0.15 yellow >lead 12 <1.0 red >mercury 0.05 <0.4 green >platinum <0.003 <0.005 none >thallium <0.001 <0.01 none >thorium <0.001 <0.005 none >uranium 0.07 <0.06 yellow >nickel 0.14 <0.4 green >silver 0.09 <0.2 green >tin 1.2 <0.3 red >titanium 1.2 <1.0 yellow >Total Toxic Representation red > >ESSENTIAL AND OTHER ELEMENTS >element result ref range color >under/over 50% >============================================================ > >Calcium 130 125-370 green under >50% >Magnesium 9.0 12-30 yellow under >50% >Sodium 160 12-90 yellow over 50% >Potassium 120 12-40 yellow over 50% >Copper 12 8.0-16 green over 50% >Zinc 140 100-140 green over 50% >Maganese 0.16 0.2-0.55 yellow under >50% >Chromium 0.33 0.26-0.5 green under >50% >Vanadium 0.024 0.03-0.1 yellow under >50% >Molybdenum 0.1 0.05-0.13 green over 50% >Boron 5.6 0.6-4.0 yellow over 50% >Iodine 0.99 0.25-1.3 green over 50% >Lithium 0.006 0.007-0.023 yellow under >50% >Phosphorus 253 160-250 green over 50% >Selenium 2.1 0.95-1.7 yellow over 50% >Strontium 0.19 0.16-1.0 green under >50% >Sulfur 52200 45500-53000 green over 50% >Barium 0.33 0.16-0.8 white middle >50% >Cobalt 0.016 0.013-0.035 green under >50% >Iron 24 8.0-19 yellow over 50% >Germanium 0.049 0.045-0.065 green under >50% >Rubidium 0.12 0.016-0.18 green over 50% >Zirconium 0.85 0.04-1.0 green over 50% >

Don't worry a lot about these. There are some patterns among the sodium-potassium-calcium-magnesium that indicate what the adrenals are doing but I don't understand them exaclty. You might ask around. It is OK to supplement the low stuff if you want. > > Is there anything else I should be extremely concerned > about? No. > > I have no idea what i am doing here so any help/advice > offered will be greatly appreciated. DMSA promotes normal healthy lead levels and may do so for antimony. SAMe or the combination of B-12+folate+TMG may promote normal healthy antimony levels. Antimony comes from flame retardant pyjamas and bedding, which should be tossed or washed many times with large amounts of washing soda to reduce the antimony content. Please note that this does render them flammable. > > POTENTIALLY TOXIC ELEMENTS > element result ref range color > ============================================= > aluminum 9.1 <8.0 yellow > antimony 0.26 <0.066 red A lot. > arsenic 0.14 <0.08 yellow Eh, may or may not be a problem. ALA gets rid of it. > beryllium <0.01 <0.02 none > bismuth 0.046 <0.13 green > cadmium 0.39 <0.15 yellow > lead 12 <1.0 red THIS IS A REAL WHOLE LOT!!! AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!! DMSA is magic for this. You have to do it for a couple of years to get his body all cleaned out since it hides in the bones. The highest I ever saw was a 29, on an adult who was really having a lot of trouble. > mercury 0.05 <0.4 green > platinum <0.003 <0.005 none > thallium <0.001 <0.01 none > thorium <0.001 <0.005 none > uranium 0.07 <0.06 yellow Ignore this. > nickel 0.14 <0.4 green > silver 0.09 <0.2 green > tin 1.2 <0.3 red I don't know how significant this is, but having very elevated tin + lead indicates he is getting it from solder somewhere. Pipe solder if you have old copper pipes, or solder on cans if eating from pre-1995 food cans, or solder somewhere else. It is important to try to figure out where he is getting it and stop further exposure. Many drug stores sell lead test swabs that you can go around the house with and wipe things to figure out where the lead is coming from. > titanium 1.2 <1.0 yellow > Total Toxic Representation red Yeah.
