precarinal or pericarinal, prevascular versus perivascular

Help! The doc makes it s/l pre when he dictates and not peri but I was thinking

he changed it on a last report. He is talking about the precarinal space and

prevascular space. Would it be pre or peri? Both of them are in my rad book

under peri but I cannot document under pre. Is he just dictating this wrong?
