Guest guest
I'm looking for information about any possible relationship bw having had shingles and developing on-going nausea. The information is for my 87 y.o. uncle. He had shingles that lasted about 2 months back in February/March this year. Ever since he has had nausea most of the day and just told me he has lost his appetite due to that, so he is not nourishing himself well. He has a cook so it's not a problem of preparing meals. He had always been big on eating fresh fruits and vegetables and before this made weekly trips to the local farmers markets for fresh produce. His cook is still doing that for him. He lives in Puerto Rico and just called me bc he has been forced to eat very little by the symptoms and has lost a lot of weight; he was already quite thin. Complicating matters he had back surgery last month from which he is still trying to recover. None of his MDs has been of any help at all so far and he thinks that they're basically ignoring his symptoms, thinking they're all in his head. Is there anything anyone knows about this that may be of help? TIA Digna
