My pacemaker is about the size of a 50 cent piece, and as thick as 2 50 cent pieces together. You can only tell that it is there from the 2 inch scar right above a slight bump in the skin. I never feel it, or know that it is there except maybe when I roll over on it in the nite, and then a slight move and it is gone again. It does not pulse or do anything to let me know that it is working, except my pulse is very regular at 62, then I know that it is working, because it is set at that rate. It works very well for me.
