I slept some last night, but mostly because I haven't BEEN sleeping for days.

Our weather is icky, too, and my pain keeps getting worse. Yesterday I couldn't stand the feel of clothing on my skin or the pressure of my bones against a chair or bed, it was bad.

Today isn't much better.

was up from 2-4 with that.. boy does your ass hurt when your on the toilet for so long! *smiles*

Jane - I know how you're feeling. My hands are so swollen my fingers look like stuffed sausages. I don't know if its the weather here or not thats causing it. We need rain. We'll have a few thunderstorms pop up during the day but they fizzle out before they get to up. They had a bunch of damage from some the other day not far from us and we didn't even get enough rain to settle the dust. Oh well.

We've had more storms already this afternoon. The tornadoes that hit yesterday destroyed or damaged 500 homes and left 21000 without power. Because of the way the jetstream is dipping so far South right now, the forecasts are for more stormy weather into next week. I'm sure that all this weather and the barometric changes are responsible for part of my aching but not completely. This afternoon I have developed the worst headache I've had in several weeks. I've had to put the computer away several times because of it and the accompanying vertigo.

Hope you are feeling better today. I understand the distress of having on clothing and pressure of bones against a chair or bed. I think our symptoms are so similar in so many ways that maybe if one of us gets a firm dx for what else is bothering us, then it will give the other person some information that might help the other one get their dx also. He believes that much of the pain that FMS causes in the muscles and tissues are a result of insufficient magnesium, selenium, malic and folic acids. There are other things in the IV...lots of other vitamins and B-12 also. He recommends 8 weeks of treatment at 2 times per week. I think I mentioned the other day (probably when you were having computer problems) that there was a lady there that day getting a treatment She said it had done wonders for her but she comes in every so often for sort of a "booster" treatment. She told me not to get discouraged because it did take time for the treatments to work so I don't know when I should be expecting to notice an improvement.

its the EG acting up again.... my GI was suposed to put me on an elemental formula over 4 weeks ago now... He hasent called me back or returned my calls. SOOOO monday i have an appt with my family dr. and im going to ask him to talk to this one dr, DR. Isral who knows more about EG and stuff. This dr who i want to see is the GI for a little girl in Vancovuer who has EG. the only problem is that he only practices out of the childrens hosptial up here..... so i want to see if he will bend and see me,.... i just need someone who will actualy give me the time of day, and not ask me what he should be doing.. he is the doctor.. he is the one who has gone to school for how many years to just ask me what i think?

I have been having the runs all day.... lying in bed, watching tv.. anyone wated Dr. Phil today? OMG its good! its about how to get bargens, and how to get lower prices on things that you need... they sent in a cupple in to buy a car, and they sent them in sepretly, the mand got over 1,500 less for the NEW car then the woman did....

so its pritty good....

what makes my tummy get in a turmoil? um.. food... my body just dosent like food... *smiles* so ya... suposed to be on formula now but the stupid GI hasent gotten back to me... so hopefully something should be done by monday..

i fealt a bit like ya.. was up at 2am.. tummy issues again! (why is it if i eat "normal" food i get sick? if i go on "jenny craig"im fine?)

was up from 2-4 with that.. boy does your ass hurt when your on the toilet for so long! *smiles*

I hope things go well down in your area... they are just letting people back into there home in kambloops now.. (where the fire struck and burnt many houses)

Jane, we're right at the dip here and it's driving me nuts! My edema is way out of control. I have a docs appt for Tuesday and he's going to flip out! I slept all day Saturday other than some potty and email download breaks and today isn't shaping up much better. I'm up now doing my 4:30 meds so my day is already screwed!

That's interesting! I would love to have some paperwork or information from him the next time you go so I can share it with my doc. He's pretty liberal when it comes to letting me try new things.

Can we blame the last few days on weather? Thursday, just "couldn't get going", even wondered if the increase in Lexapro was causing it. Fri., he was better but still not himself; I felt good Fri. - for a change. Sat. was almost a total loss. I finally got up when the dogs & cats gave me no choice; stayed in bed late because he was dizzy. We went out & ran some errands (took us 3 hours for short stops at the farmers' market, Target, & Publix - so we were moving slow). Then we were vegetables until almost 6:00. By midnight, we had fed the pets & got ourselves into bed; where we both woke up over & over ( must be retaining fluid during the day, then losing it at night. I'm sitting up & I've had breakfast, but that doesn't mean I'm awake; 's still in bed, but I don't know if he's really sleeping. If I hadn't had a cat dancing on my head demanding breakfast I'd probably still be staring at the ceiling in the bedroom. We had such hopes for this weekend - a little yard work, catch up on some housework, bathe Thor; now I'm really depressed & angry with myself for being lazy, but I don't have the energy to do anything about it. If we can blame it on the weather, it'll be easier to accept.

BTW, I did spend a lot of time online thinking my Amazon.com gc yesterday.

Hope the day gets better.
