Guest guest
I saw my local nsg yesterday, what a strange visit. I had seen his Physicians Assistant originally, and was given a tentative diagnosis of ACM1,no syrinx. He confirmed this, and also said I have stenosis of C5 and 6 that requires surgery. However, he did not like the fact that I had questions, did not like that I am going to get a second opinion, and after asking where I was going (U of M) promptly told me that I would never get in there. I asked him how many Chiari surgeries he has done. (he is in his late 50's) He said he had done some in training and maybe does 5 a year. I asked him what is my degree of herniation, he said, I don't know, maybe a centimeter. After that visit I grabbed my MRI's and ran out of that office. I will take my chances at getting into U of M. Good Grief! Theresa ACM 1, stenosis, waiting for surgery!
