Guest guest
Hi everyone, All this talk about UU's and rudimentary horns and " good " vs. " bad " ovaries has me thinking. At my hysterosonogram, I was told there was no evidence of a left tube or ovary, just the right side (good, since my UU is on the right). Also, no evidence of a rudimentary horn. Am I the only one? Someone mentioned a few days/weeks ago that the rudimentary horn is often only diagnosed through a lap, or maybe it was an MRI. I'm curious, if it's communicating, wouldn't it also fill with fluid during an HSG or hysterosonogram? I just had my consult with my GYN after the HSG/hystersonogram. She seems cautious about my ability to achieve and maintain a pregnancy. That's OK, I'm enthusiastic enough for us all! I was very thankful to hear they will watch me " like a hawk. " I was so afraid that I would have to fight for aggressive/proactive treatment. She was willing to write a referral to an RE now if I want, or I can stay with her and try Clomid for 3 failed rounds. I decided to stay with her, since I'm comfortable with her and not sure I would be with the RE. I start Clomid Nov. 20-I was having annovulatory cycles (about 60 day cycles) 9 months after stopping BCPs. I've done 3 cycles of BCPs to regulate my cycles and am ready to jump the next hurdle. Thanks for all the information, feedback, and positive support I've seen here! Becki, UU, TTC #1 11 months
