how long to watch and wait

Hi ladies. I enjoy reading all of your messages. I currently have a

16 week size uterus with fibroids ranging in size from 2cm to 6cm.

They are all subserosal. Here's the thing......I am completely

symptomless. I wouldn't even know that I had them except that my

gyno felt my enlarged uterus at a check-up. At my last check-up she

said she thinks it is time to treat them. I can't see treating

something that isn't bothering me. I've read many books on fibroids

and the consensus seems to be that you don't treat for size alone. I

am confused. I take my health very seriously, but if I don't have

symptoms,shouldn't I wait to see what happens? I am only 34, have

completed my family and don't want to have any kind of surgery.

Any Opinions???
