Guest guest
mid summer pepsi and coke are replacing their diet drinks/nutra sweet with splenda! That is gr'r'r'r'r'r'r'reat! Guest guest
Welcome back, rita How was your vacation? Great shopping! I love tomatoes too and do eat them occassionally, but not on a daily basis. Keep up the good work! Re: Crystal > > > Congratulations to Crystal and to you Cy. Guest guest
But, mark don't beat yourself up for not loosing more, but pat yourself on the back for loosing! It seems you are not only beting yourself up for not loosing more, but compounding the problem by eating something you knew you should not have eaten. That seems not to have made you feel better either. Now, if you had eaten that half a piece of pie to reward yourself, that would have ben a better attitude! I just encourage you to keep at it, man! After all, 10 pounds is much better than no pounds! Re: Crystal well I understand this attitude. I only lost ten pounds in seven weeks to day while seeing the saw bones. I went out to eat lunch after the appointment and ate half of a piece of pie that I knew I wasn't suppose to have. I was upset cause I didn't loose more weight. hungry > > > > > > > > > Before I was diagnosed, I felt fine. No symptoms no > > > nothing. Guest guest
, We will see the doctor tomorrow morning and I will get the info. One of the questions we have is the possibility of being anemic. With all of the test they ran the other day surly they check for this. Crystal gets awfully tired and we have eliminated almost every other possibility. Cy, the Ancient One... Guest guest
Rita, You are a good girl! I think the essence of the Serenity Prayer is having the wisdom to know what you can change and what you can't. Actually, I did not go through a drug treatment program to get rid of the Alcohol Addiction. I was a true alcoholic for about twenty or so years. Could not get out of bed a lot of mornings without a good stiff drink of Vodka. Now, let's see if there are not some parallels here. I maintained that I did not have a drinking problem because I always made it to work. Some folks maintain they do not have a real sugar problem because they feel " Okay " . I maintained that I could quit drinking any time I wanted to. Some folks say they can follow the diet and that their sugar is under complete control. We all have our denial problems. You know, some folks are just as hooked on video games as I was on booze. Now, the way I kicked the habit was my wife asked some Missionaries to give me a blessing that I would be able to stop drinking alcohol and not be dependant on it. It was the single most amazing event in my entire life. After the Missionaries left I went to the kitchen to finish the wine I had started before they came over. I picked up the glass, put it to my lips, sniffed it and - I swear to God, had absolutely no desire at all to drink it. In fact, it had a rather foul smell and tasted real sour. I poured it out and got another glass, same thing. I poured that glass out as well and did not touch another drop of booze for a long, long time. I also had no negative withdrawal problems or any desire to have a drink. Absolutely amazing! Cy, the Ancient One... Re: Crystal > > > Congratulations to Crystal and to you Cy. Guest guest
Rita, Rita. Sun Tea is tea made by placing the tea bags in a gallon jar and letting the Sun do the steeping. Wal-Mart also sells a Sun Tea jar. It has a push spout on the bottom. (Yes, you also put water in the jar) Set the jar with tea bags and water in the sun for several hours and you have some very good tea to drink. Cy, the Ancient One... Guest guest
please do, the LDL and HDL and triglisterite levels are extremely importnat to keep an eye on.
