Guest guest
Hi Sue, I seem to recall that Vit B is water soluable. That means you may be able to crush it up and it should dissolve to some degree in a drink. If you son has trouble swallowing maybe he could sip it through a straw. My daughter was in a trial taking succinic acid for a while and I used to give it to her in a drink because it was so sour tasting with food ( the drink went down alot faster). It worked well but it took about 20 minutes to dissolve in juice. It may be worth a try if he can sip from a straw.
Guest guest
Hi , I had tried in the past to disolve these things and it didn't work too well. I did find some capsules that can swallow so I will try those and see. He can drink fine through a straw, he just doesn't like to take this stuff and he spits it back out. I guess he will just have to learn that if he doesn't take his meds, he doesn't get out of his chair. My sister had to do that with her then 3 year old daughter. She found out she had Juvenile Rheumetoid Arthiritis and she HAD to take pills to make her better. It was a social worker at the hospital who suggested that. Well, thanks for the help, I appreciate it. Take care...
